Description

Royal Jelly or royal jelly, a different product from honey bees

Honey bees are known for producing honey, but they also produce a special substance that is a cure for many diseases. This product is Royal Jelly. Royal jelly or royal jelly is a super product of honey bees. This product is harvested from the queen cells of the hive and is sold as a supplement or in skin creams to boost collagen production, reduce premenstrual and menopausal symptoms, and improve overall health. Because this product spoils quickly, we freeze it or transport it in a cold chain.

What is Royal Jelly?

Royal jelly is a milky white secretion produced by worker bees (1). It typically contains about 60-70% water, 12-15% protein, 10-16% sugar, 3-6% fat, and 2-3% vitamins, salts, and amino acids. Its composition varies depending on geography and climate. This product gets its name from the fact that bees use it to grow and develop the queen bee. Some people use royal jelly as a medicine. Do not confuse royal jelly with bee pollen or bee venom (2).

Royal jelly is used for asthma, hay fever, liver disease, pancreatitis, sleep problems (insomnia), premenstrual syndrome (PMS), stomach ulcers, kidney disease, broken bones, menopausal symptoms, skin disorders, and high cholesterol. It is also used as a general health tonic, to fight the effects of aging, and to boost the immune system. This compound is used in Japan as an aphrodisiac and rejuvenator.

Some people apply royal jelly directly to the skin as a toner or to the scalp to promote hair growth.
